Hi I hope you can help.

My op systerm is XP pro.

My company wanted me to set up a VPN and I followed there instruction but the operation failed. Now when I sign on to the internet I get a dial up box. I never had this and I always connected straight on to the internet via my wireless modem. How do I change things back as they were and make my connection to the modem default. In addition to this, I have a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark inside saying that I have no connectivity yet my signal strength is excellent(Netgear). I now can only connect to the internet by connect the lead to the modem.

I am all stressed now as this has taken hours to try and rectify.

Many thanks in advance.

Well, you could go to your network connections (start>control Panel>Network Connections) and remove the other connections you made. Truely you should only have your "Local Area Network" shown. But are you trying to CREATE a VPN to allow connections on that computer, or are you trying to connect to an already established VPN?

Hi and thanks for your reply.

First of all, when I go to start>control Panel>Network Connections, all that is in there is local area connections and wireless connections. What I was tring to do was connect to a VPN but what I want to do now is to get my computer back to how it was and get wireless connection again.

Cheers
