Is there any way to undo a registry restore? I am desperate. I accidentally downloaded SpyLocked. In an attempt tofix it I restored my registry to go to "the last known goodconfiguration". That didn't work. So I followed the automated fix instructions in the "How to Remove SpyLocked" section on this website and everything went fine until step 9. My computer tells me there is an error in accessing the registry. So, my question is: can I undo what I did to my registry? I have Windows 2000 Professional on the computer I am having the problem with. Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi Sue. Welcome to BleepingComputer.

I can't answer your specific question but have you tried doing a System Restore back to before your problems?
Commander Gman
Have you also done a registry backup before you did the change?
doing so will allow you to start right back where you started

Although i don't know how to do it in terms of doing it "manually" sad.gif

Also be carefull when it comes to registry
If you made a mistake without backing up,you're computer
may encounter more problems
