I recently found a stack of Trojans on my computer, and, after various stages of Removal, thought I had the problem set. It started by Disabling my Network Connections. So After Running AVG, AdAware, Spyware Blaster, and Winsockfix, finally got my Connection Back up. I ran a Trendmicro Online Scan and found/cleaned another handful of issues. I updated windows, and went on my way, with Connectivity back and everything.
Now all of a sudden, when I boot up, it locks at the desktop. When I mouse over the task bar, I get an Hourglass... Sometimes it pops up a taskbar alert that it couldn't load Network devices. I can't run any Icons off the desktop, and I cant access the start menu. I can open the TaskManager via Ctrl-Alt-Del.. but there';s nothing there to help me.
I rebooted into safe mode, and am runnign another AVG Scan, but it's not coming up with anything.
I can't even get tothe desktop to run a Hijack This! Log...
Any Ideas would be GREATLY Appreciated, as there is a lot of Time Sensitive MAterial on my laptop... =\
