Firstly thanks in advance if you able to help me out with my little problem.

I guess straight to the point.
Bought a brand new laptop vista installed - I need to run one of my business programs that uses Access.

I have loaded Access 03 version and i when i try to open my program it says it is read only.
Apparently there is a patch to fix this problem( which as i understand is a security problem??)

presume you're using Office 2003 Pro, its supported by MS, have you tried them for help?

Try running the setup.exe file as an Administrator. Most common problems of this sort are linked to corrupt media (scratched disk) or a problem with the autorun process.

He's also got info there if you run into the EULA repeating itself every time it launches.
