Okay, I didn't know if this should go in Hardware or Vista, so I put it in here, since this wasn't happening in XP.

My monitor (19" widescreen Hanns-G) turns off after 20 minutes of no activity, and when I come back, and turn it on and whatnot, it's a big fuzzy mess. I changed my refresh rate from 75Hertz to 60Hertz after this happened the first time, but I just got back and had to restart again. It's very aggravating.

I just made it so my monitor doesn't turn off, but that kind of bothers me.
I'm using a DVI cable, but I could hook up my VGA. Any suggestions? And if it helps, my graphics card is an eVGA GeForce 7900GTO.
Does anyone know any tips for this, or a way to fix it?

And off topic, but is there a way to run an OpenGL game on Vista? I'm having problems booting Soldier of Fortune 2 sad.gif

Update your video drivers. If this doesn't fix it, then try installing the monitor drivers.
