my pc was running slow for lack of so many music files and game's i had well i forgot i had turned off restore points..and lost alot of files!!! now i cant do a system restore someone please help!!! oh btw i am not to pc smart so a begginers guide would help

System restore points do not delete or modify user files in any way.
They only restore key windows files and setting.

Further clarification of the problem would be very helpful
