I have a Netscreen 5Xt firewall. I was trying to reconfigure it after I rebooted the firewall but an error came up that said "invalid on-board flash disk". Does anyone know what that means and how can I fix it? Thanks. This is really time crucial so if you would please get back as soon as possible.

It's a firewall. It's a Netscreen 5XT. The version software 2.0. Doesn't have a hard drive. Do you know what that error means

If this is what I think it is. You have a Juniper Networks NetScreen 5XT Firewall. This being a hardware firewall not a software firewall. My guess is you have a corrupt flash memory card onboard. I would contact Juniper and see if they can supply you with a new configuration to telnet into the device and flash a new configuration into it. I'm not sure if this is a removable card or permanently onboard. If it's a removable one you should have a fresh card with a backup configuration on standby. Just my two cents. By the way the 5XT Series has been replaced by the 5GT.
