When running Disk Cleanup (found in Systems Tools that come with WinXP/2000/98), does it erase the list of recent documents? (Is it this "List of Recent Documents" the list of recent files found on Menu Bar -> File -> all the way down right on top of Exit on the drop down?)

Is there a way not to lose this drop down list of recent documents in Word or Excel or Access? If they disappear, some people think they have been deleted.

Dear friend

It doesn't delete the recent documents data and not cleanup the word ,excel , opening files.
If u want to remove the recent documents data
Right click on taskbar then go on properties -> start menu->advanced -> clear recent files.
only we can increase the recent list but after reaching the define recent lists it will be disappear but not deleted.
in MS-WORD
Tools->options->general->recent used file list(enter the no.) clapping.gif
