How do you clear the entiry/entries in the drop down list in Windows? (start -> run -> click the down arrow and it shows what you've typed in)

Dear friend

Right Click on taskbar -> Properties->start menu->customize->advanced->clear lists in the case windows xp

Right Click on taskbar -> Properties->Classical start menu->customize->clear lists in win 2000/xp tongue.gif

to clear only the ones you don't want you can use registry editor.

Go to start ->Run, type in regedit.


HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\RunMRU

Delete the ones you don't want and then close regedit.
