Ugh...I'm having a "i am going to hurt my computer in a minute moments" so maybe someone can help. I downloaded a free courseware from MIT and am trying to get the files open. Once it was downloaded, I unziped the files with the file extracter on Windows XP. So now when I open the files, a bunch of the chapters are in PDF format, i suppose. But when I try to open the files with Adobe (version 7), it says that the files are not able to be read or some junk...oh, and the files in the class are online. So any suggestions at all? Need more info,let me know/

What was the file extension for the zipped file? and for the contents? What is the precise wording of the error message when you try to open the files?
Are there any instructions about downloading the courseware at MIT?
