You can make brief comments on your thoughts about what they have written, but it is not to become a debate! no matter how tempting! If you need to express, just take it into the "about nothing" thread in general chat.

After giving the "what if" your considerations, it is then your turn to ask the "what if" question for some one else to deliberate.

The "what if" questions can be about anything, from ...if we were pets to blue tree bark. They can be as long as you wish.

What if there was no means of electrical power EVER again?

No electric power at all, What if we didn't have hampsters to run their wheels to power our generators !! Now that'd be a real power shortage sorry about that nn23,, we all would be up the creek with no electric we have become to dependent. There would go our game too, lost the comp. with the power !! Seriously, What if you knew tommorrow would be your last day on earth??

If Iknew that tomorrow was my last day on earth I wouldn't change a thing because I live everyday like it was my last day on Earth. Life is too short.

What if you were stranded on a deserted island completely alone?

And that would be different how?? Seriously, I suppose I would really find out then how self entertaining I am. I could also do specialized research into the question of whether or not plants that are spoken to really do thrive more than those that are not spoken to. I'd have plenty of subjects & time. I would really have to find as many interesting ways of keeping my mind active & occupied, I wouldn't want to lose what little I have left,but then again, if I were all alone how would I know if I had lost my mind or not??? Gives one pause to reflect, doesn't it?

What if one morning you woke up as the opposite gender?

Well, I would stare at my naked body for about an hour (I am a guy after all)!

Then I would go back to sleep. I have no idea how to survive as a woman!

My wife would be extremely freaked out! Then we would probably get into some sort of catfight, and I don't know how to catfight, so I would lose. Then, for the rest of our lives together I would forever be the weaker of the two. No dice!

What if the world forgot you?

If the world forgot me then I suppose I would cess to exist. If no one in the world knows you then to what would you amount, very little I think.

What if you could travel thru time, would you go back & why? or would you go forward & why?

I would chose to go back in time to when my grandma was alive, and my great grandma was "healthy". They were the backbone to my family, so when my grandma passed away and my great grandma moved back to Colorado our family fell apart.

What if you died and then had a chance to come back, would you, and why?

Depends on when I died, if it we're soon, yes I'd come back---I want to be around long enough to watch my 5 yr. old grandaughter grow up..



Okay, What if you died and could come back as anything other than yourself, what would it be?

i would come back as a rock

What if we had no desires?

We would just be organic robots. Un-Deterable, practically unthinking, and very boring robots. Granted the world would be much more eficient, but we probrably wouldnt care.

What if humans never discovered electricity?

Spoiled food, warm beer,and still making candles!

Well, if they outlawed humour without outlawing laughing, i guess EVERYTHING would have to be literal...thats a mad one...HA HAAA, slapstick would take over in public and there would be secret comedy club busts everywhere also ha haa haaa. coool

mmmm....what if...speech wasnt our method of communication?

It would turn out to be body language or touchy feely or possibly and most likely telepathy.





What if we didn't have computers!!!!

The world would be far simpler and less populated. I think we would have ruined the Earth by now. With no ability to monitor the health of the Earth, we would have taken things too far much sooner, perhaps making it uninhabitable. And we wouldn't have been beaten in chess.



What if your worst fear came true?

My worst fear? O__o Religion would all be a phony system to keep the human population under control, and when we died our existence would simply terminate and our consciousness would vanish.

What if... duct tape had never been invented?

We wouldn't be able to live with all of the stuff that had fallen apart because it had been fixed with duct tape.





What if there was a chance to do your life over?

I would take back what I said to my girl friend before she killed herself.

What if penguins COULD fly?!

What ifffff....every thought you have suddenly became literal reality as soon as you think...even swearing ?

Oh my.
I would be toasted out in the sun every time I complained!
but then on the other hand... I suppose that could come in handy for things like, "All my homework is complete and I know exactly what I am doing," or "The bus will arrive in ten seconds" when it rains or so. As long as I thought the right things it would be fine!

What if your nose grew longer every time you lied? (Plastic surgery would be a very profitable business!)

Do I look like the type that would lie to you? My nose actually would be about, well, about, I'd have sufficated by now from standing on the darn thing!!!!

La la land? Everybody in it would be unreal then, except for me?

I'd either go out and try to find reality, or stay in the fake world and enjoy myself! After all, who would know what the real world would be like! Perhaps even crazier than this one

Is that a question??? Heck yeah! I'd go to my dads house, hit him in the face, go streaking, kill Bill (Gates), Steal a Jet, Tie George Bush to the after burners, and fly to Amsterdam right before I left.

What if we actually "won" the Iraq war?

If we "won", George Bush's approval rating would soar and everything would be fine in the Middle East. Which would be rather wonderful, because then the U.S. soldiers could come home (yay) and there would be much fewer casualties.

What if you could see flatulence?

Chilli houses would go out of business?

No such thing as spicy food?

The White House would be permanently shrouded in "fog"?




What if you found $1,000,000 dollars, unmarked, on the side of the road?

I'd turn it in to the nearest police station.

I'd start running around looking for walking mushrooms and koopas. Then I'd likely die with my head stuck in a green tube that I shoved into the ground.

What if it really did rain cats and dogs?

We'd all end up with Fleas!! and fur balls!!






What if you could just snap your fingers and have anything you wanted, what would be the #1 important thing that you'd want??

Besides an Aston Martin?! Instant brotherhood and community between all people of the World. I think we can really make progress as Human Beings if we can ever figure out how to love one another.


What if you knew you were immortal?

Well.... After the first week or so of running around like an idiot doing... what-ever: I'd likely find a way to use it for profit. That way I could live the outrageous, exiting life that everyone desires... well... I do anyways. Maybe I'm still too young.

Or I could become a super hero, fly to Iraq and take care of the whole thing single handedly.



What if the president turned out to be a robot?

Then it could truthfully be said that he had a screw loose!!







What if we had a way to start colonizing other planets, would you go?

I would go if it was quicker than the estimated time it would take to get to Gleesa.

What if google got shut down?

Then hopefully the practice of storing data on millions of unsuspecting internet users would cease.

What if tomorrow there was no more readily available electricity?

I would call my uncle. He has half of his house running on home-made windmills connected to car batteries. Then I would have a legitimate reason to say good bye to electric bills forever!

Until the world as we know it economically collapses.... then we'd all be screwed.

What if you saw a large group of people with this expression stuck on their faces?

I'd wonder what the heck was going on and get out of there as fast as I could... anything that can manage to entice that many people can't be good.

What if you could stretch like rubber?

Then I'd never have to walk again.

What if you was blue?

I'd join the circus, and the Blue Man Group, give them both a new meaning, and become filthy rich.

What if something happened to the atmosphere that made all metals extremely brittle?

Cars and other machines would probably not be as usable. And my cereal spoon might break while I was eating breakfast... but people could pretend to be really strong by snapping huge bars of metal in half!

What if the air were so polluted that people had to breathe out of bottled air?

I guess we would all have nebulizers. The sky's would no longer be blue, we would have to terra-form the planet to support another type of life ,for a food source, if we could even find/create another type of life. We wouldn't really have to worry about fires. I don't want to add anymore... could take forever.

What if the cinnamon rolls I'm getting ready to take out of the oven ended up burning?!

Then you've burned your buns...

Then I'd have hives everywhere!!!!!!

I think my family and friends would look at me different (I don't think I need to go further into this subject.)

What if you died and God and the devil both didn't want you?

I'd laugh...alot...and then i would stick a section 6 up in both heaven and hell and invite all my mates to squat and we would throw a massive rave with techno playing from the sky to beneith the earth and heaven and hell would be united in techno bliss
