Hi,

I have a Dell C600 laptop with IE ver 6.0 installed. When I try to connect to the Internet the screen freezes. In the upper center of the page is the phrase "Working Offline". None of the options are available to choose from. When the mouse cursor is hovered over a choice, nothing happens. Does anyone have any ideas as to what could be wrong?

Click on the File menu and if there is a check mark next to Work Offline, uncheck it.

Thanks Walkman, but when I try to click on file (or any other option) nothing happens. There is no response from the keyboard whatsoever except that the mouse cursor will move. In order to close the IE window, I have to shut bown.
