A new game opens up in BC's theatre..

The system works as following

There will be 1 contest at a time

The contest will be started by posting a still from a movie scene. No soap's or series may be included
Obviously we have to be aware of the family friendly character of this board so anything against
the forum rules will be deleted.There are some rules as far posting pictures are concerned.
These are :

We encourage to post the pictures via hosting services. Most of them require signing up it is a bit of an effort
but is saves on bandwidth.Good- and almost Ad-free services are :

Suprfile
No membership required. Easy and accessable. Click on the browse button make a name of at least
15 characters and push upload. You will get links directly after that...

Click on the > browse button. Find your image and then click > submit.

You will then see your pic uploaded

Three links will show under the image itself.

Note: Actually for images that are quite large, as in desktop screenshots. I use the photo hosting site ImageShack. Which is a free service as well. Since it allows a maximum image size of 1024 kb. Photobucket has a maximum allowance of only 250 kb. They will be re-sized if they are larger. And the image will not be as crisp. Click on Register in the top right hand corner.
Check your e-mail for your activation link
Click on > Browse
Then click on > Host It
Then click on the link > My Images
You will now see that your image has been uploaded.
> copy eiether the Thumbnail Code for forums. The thumbnail code will create a clickable thumbnail.
Due to the thumbnail possibilities we prefer Imageshack
After the first pic is posted the Quizz Starter has to wait 24 hours to give all participating members opportunity to give their answers this due to the " Global Span " of our membership
If it is not guessed the Quizz Starter can add a quote from the movie or a hint or a 2nd picture
If it is guessed by more than one member the members who have one can either
A ) Jointly make the new quizz or
B ) Decide by a number guessing game who makes the next quizz
[Some sources for stills will have very strict policies about their copywrited material; players should use judgement about using images from these sites. A few common sources for stills are:

Hey fozzie, EXCELLENT idea for a game BTW NICE ONE!

I do have one quiery about the rules reguarding the pasted quote hehe, sorry. The family friendly issue applys only to the image we choose and not the rating of the film, am i correct?

...i dont have any x-rated films planned in mind or anything, i was just wondering

Please attempt to use the thumbnail post if at all possible.
Others may be deleted if too large.

DO NOT QUOTE OR REPEAT THE PICTURES in your follow up posts.
Such posts will be deleted without prejudice.

We are not overly concerned about the rating of the film.
But be very careful of images posted.
Violate our board posting rules and you will be suspended at the least if not outright and immediately banned.

thought i was wrong when you posted your 70s clue as empire was realised in 1980 according to yahoo movies i thought it was 78 myself as for my turn not sure how to post a picture yet but will have ago now

was iiit? darn it, i asked me brother in-law and he said it was 1977...i said i thought it was 1979...and you said it was 1980...i shall go and check and add my findings in an edit in a mo he he, ....sorryyyyy
