What do you think of Joomla and what are your experiences with it? Pros and cons please. Also, what is a good hosting site I should use with it?
JoshT
I've never used Joomla, and probably never will. I'm not into those big fancy CMS. I have used Wordpress for testing purposes, and I thought it was great.

I think one of the best hosting sites out there is Bluehost.com, or Dreamhost.com

1and1.com didn't offer a lot of help for learning how to use direct FTP access.

I just thought Joomla would be a good choice because it has premade templates for tons of useful things and seems easy enough to use. Is Wordpress free?

I always saw pages load of 1and1.com ads in my PC magazine so I did think about using them but I guess I shouldn't. I have heard good stuff about Dreamhost.com and a little about Bluehost.com.

Thank you for your opinion.

I mean, you could use Joomla, but there are definitely more better CMS, or Portals as some call them.

for cms, i prefer sNews over all other(just around 100kb). as for as hosting is concerned, you can try a few good free hosting providers at http://www.freehostingworld.info (if you are just a beginner).

if you are searching for a paid host try bluepipes.net with 99.99% uptime & very good support.
