If it is triggered by something posted, then how could it be completely random?
I guess I don't understand the game RULES.
Cheers,

How random is random? Is there true randomness, or are there patterns hidden in what we perceive as randomness? Or is that random event part of a larger pattern we are too small to see?

Sounds a bit like Chaos Theory ...

How intriguing since I've never read Chaos Theory. However, I have read about a fight between Chaos and her sibs in a fantasy book, Realms of the Gods, by Mercedes Lackey.
I think of an ant on a huge tapestry that suddenly comes across a gold thread which it had never seen before. The ant concluded that the gold thread was random; however, the weaver who could see the entire tapestry knew quite well the golden thread was part of the entire pattern. Patterns within patterns, shifting and changing but part of a seamless whole.
Have you ever read Perelandra by C. S. Lewis in which there were floating islands that took the shape of the waves beneath them? Can you imagine walking on such a surface?

Nope sorry, I have not. I used to read alittle but haven't much the last 10 years or so. (hmmm...... about the time I got a computer

) I have seen the movie based on his work "The Chronicles of Narnia" and thought it was pretty good. When I did read, it was towards the likes of Tom Clancy (I did reread "Without Remorse" a few months back ) or Sci-Fi. I do like his (Lewis) work from what I know of it though.

I have randomly generated this post. But the letters are not in random sequence.
