Hi, is there some kind of image program available (preferably free) that allows us to add colour to black-and-white photos?
I had in mind something that allows us to paint over the pic in different transparent colours so that the underlying b/w textures are still there.
I'm chronically PC-illiterate so it'd have to be simple for a dummy like me to install and operate.
I'm Win XP Home
Thanks

Adding color to black and white photos can be both tricky and difficult, but it is very nice if you achieve the results that you're looking for!

There are a lot of free programs out that allow you to edit photos. HERE are some that are listed on this site. Irfanview and Gimp seem to be quite popular wink.gif

You can search through BleepingComputer's tutorials to try to find some help!

Hope this helps you out! thumbup2.gif
