Not that it's a big deal, but after re-installing XP, my primary HD is now E instead of C (I should've disconnected my 2nd IDE HD). Of course, computer runs normally in this configuration, but I just recently tried to update a game of mine and it keeps trying to search for the InstallShield program in C instead of E. I'm aware that pretty much 99% of the population have their primary HD as C.

Is there a way I can tell the update program to run from E? Better yet, is it at all possible to change my system drive back to C without re-installing the sucker? (From what I've read so far, it can't be done).

Maybe it'll work if I back-up my data and restore it after re-installing XP correctly to C?

It's annoying as hell, and I've already had to reinstall XP a couple of times and don't want to slog through that again.

Well, I devised a quick solution, I just assigned "C" to my 2nd HD, just so the update would work.
