I'm going to be launching a website soon, and many have asked if i will be doing online free webmail like hotmail, yahoo etc and ive decided that i want to do it. but i dont know what software to use, that can send and receive emails, check them in a webmail and be able to register themselves online automaticly, without someone at the server to register for them

any suggestions?

It is sort of hard to give any suggestions when we have no idea what platform your web server is going to be run on, what sort of web server software you are going to use, or anything else.

oh sorry lol, it is Abyss Web server with PHP, Perl & CGI support installed.

I believe when groovicus mentions "platform" he means apache, am I correct?

Actually, I meant which OS. Abyss Web is for either Windows or Mac.
