Hello,

My ZoneAlarm firewall keeps notifying me that it has blocked access to the internet from a number of ?ports?

Currently I am on 187 alerts in the last so minutes; some of what is being blocked:
  • bas14-montrealak-1177640292.dsl.bell.ca....
  • 124.106.204.24
  • 59.105.212.10
Generally there are a number of 'montrealak', and several of the different numbers.

This only started happening today; yesterday I download and installed AVG Anti-Virus free edition, and have now uninstalled it. My uTorrent (torrent downloader) recently tried updating itself, but my internet connection disconnects every so often, so it has been unable to install the latest update build. I have also uninstalled uTorrent to see what would happen.

Technically my computer has not been breached; however, thats like saying my car has not been stolen when someone continually tries to steel it?

Any ideas?

As I finished typing I now have 273 alerts.

The two IP adresses belong to the same company klick
Also run this test to see whether you are vulnarable. To be on the safe side If your computer was used for online banking or has credit card information on it, all passwords should be changed immediately to include those used for email, eBay and forums. You should consider all your passwords to be compromised. They should be changed by using a different computer and not the infected one. Do not change passwords or do any transactions while using the infected computer because an attacker may get the new passwords and transaction information. Banking and credit card institutions should be notified of the possible security breech.

First and foremost I would uninstall Utorrent until this problem is solved. What kind of security software do you have presently on your computer
