I have a custom desktop that my mom took and brought it up to the store, and when i tried to play music when i was up there, no sound would come up! I tried looking for the volumes options but it wasn't there. I then went to hardware and found my sound card was still attatched to the computer and all. Does anyone know why this is happening? The sound card also looks fine and unfried. Last thing, i don't have internet up there.
Amazing Andrew
Do you know whether the sound has ever worked?

Can you past the specs on the computer?

It could be that the drivers for the sound chip aren't installed. Find what sound chip your mobo uses and Google for the drivers for it.

I've had it for about 2-3 years so yes it did work, but i'll have to look for the specs when i go up there.
