About a week ago my old network adapter stopped working. I got a new one two days ago. I install the software, plug in the adapter, it automatically installs whatever else needed to be installed and I try to connect. It doesn't connect at first so I give it the IP, Default Gateway, and other things like that to use. So it connects with a low signal strength. I open up Firefox thinking it will work, but it doesn't. So I try logging onto AIM and I can't. I check the connection and it says I am connected and everything indicates I am. Two other things noticed was that on the status window for the connection it says that X number of packets have been sent, but none received, and when I was entering the IP and such, I couldn't enter the alternate DNS server because the computer had told me the alternates were the same, so I couldn't use them.

Hi, could you give some more info such as which card you bought and can you see it in device manager?
