i have a wireless network setup and my desktop and laptop work fine on it but i do not know how to share files and folder from the two. my laptop is from my office and has a different workgroup, and i have not setup any workgroup really on the desktop yet. is there a way i can do this? would i have to make two workgoups for laptop(idont know if that is possible)?

You can do this - but it's much simpler to share files by using a USB flash drive. By the time you make the connection, provide your credentials, and log onto the wireless network - you can easily copy the files needed to a flash drive (and that doesn't require that you have a network connection),

If you'll be regularly transferring files back and forth, the need for file sharing on a network will become more important.
