i just bought an AOpen DSW1812P and i installed it and it reads dvd+R as a CD drive and under my computer it reads the drive as a DVD-RAM and not a DVDRW can anyone help me with this??

Welcome to BC. Is this issue allready solved? Did try to install latest drivers?
