Hi
I have just bought a wireless router for my aol broadband account.
the only reason I got it was because my sister got a laptop and wanted the internet, so i set it up which took ages...but finally got there, connected my desktop with the ethernet cable and her laptop is wireless.
I know nothing about wireless routers so my questions are -
when i switch on the computer I can access the internet through explorer instantly, I dont need to sign in to aol, is this normal??
I only need to sign in if I want to check e-mail or access any aol features.
I am a bit worried as I thought you would still need to sign in to the account?? or have I done something wrong and that it is accessing the net some how and will charge on the phone bill (can that be done with broadband)??
silly questions I know.
