OK, big problems. I had an old Linksys router hooked up to a Verizon DSL network. We were starting to have problems so I got the Netgear Wireless G with MIMO. I installed the software, then followed the prompts to unhook the Linksys and hookup the Netgear. I got through everything and could not get an internet connection. I assumed it was because I needed the IP information from Verizon, but when I called them they said I had the correct settings. (Detect IP address and all the automatic stuff, nothing manual needed). The modem has all the lights on that are supposed to be on, and so does the router. I tried changing some things around in the internet settings, probably a mistake because I don't remember what I changed. Now, I have tried to hook the Linksys back up, nothing. I ran the Ethernet directly from the modem to the computer, nothing. I have lost the internet completely, and I really think it is something to do with the IP address. Any ideas?

Turn off and unplug everything. Wait one minute and plug just the modem in. Wait another minute and plug the router in (either one) and then turn all your computers and network devices on.
Could you list the makes and models of the modem and both routers?
