Hi everyone. i recently bought a DIGI cam and have lost the disk like an idiot! ive been trying to find the drivers/software for it. The only site i could get hold of the driver was from driverguide.com. I followed the instuctions as said but nothing seems to be working. Im not really up on this sort of thing so any help would be appreciated. The make of the camera is goodmans and the model is G-SHOT 5034tft. Thanks again

Are you saying the install isn't working, or after installing the software, the camera still isn't working?

Have you double-checked the instructions carefully? Some installations require you to NOT have the cables plugged in before installing the software.

My girlfriend bought a small cheap camera that acted the same way. When I reread the instructions, I uninstalled the software, then I unplugged the cable wire, then I rebooted, then I installed, then I plugged in the cable wire...... and then it worked.

Try doing it that way if what you try fails.

Nothin at all mate. Il try it your way though. Is there a certain way of installing a driver???

Have you ever installed it when you had your disc ...and tested that the camera was working?

If yes, you may be just missing a file or it could be corrupted, which calls for the drivers.

If no, do it the way the instructions say to install it. This is very important, because, if you do one step before the other, you may still have the problem.

If you don't have the manual, or can't find it online (you probably will)... you can try this:
1. Know the folder where you saved the drivers, then power down.
2. Plug the cable in the port, with the camera attached and powered ON. (I'm guessing Windows will find it)
3. Power up, and see what happens.... If Windows doesn't recognize it being attached, do this:
4. Goto Start, Control Panel, Add Hardware. Click Next....... then select Yes, I already have the hardware connected...... then click Next... on the next window look for your device... if you don't find it, select the last option at the bottom of the list.... Add a new hardware device... then click next. Then on the next screen, select Install the hardware that I manually select from the list (Advanced)... and click Next.... The next screen you should be selecting Imaging Devices as your hardware.. then click Next. On the next screen, it'll list different manufacturers. Select yours, if it's listed and see if your model is listed. If your manufacturer isn't on the list, then you will need to click on the Have Disk button and navigate to your driver, the one you downloaded, and when you select it, it should bring you a list of model no#'s. Select yours... and then install.
