I think this is the correct forum.
Often lately, when on certain websites, I will be automatically logged off and I will get an on screen message saying something like "install Macromedia Flash 8 (I think)"
I go to my Microsoft page, and it says Macromedia isn't necessarily microsoft approved, but I can install it if I want to.
I don't want to keep getting bumped off the internet (it seems like that message comes up when I'm on sites with a lot of video and moving images), but I would also like to know if installing the updated "Flash" is safe.
Thank you.

Hi ras60

Adobe Flash Player and Shockwave Player are necessary for viewing flash (animated) content on web sites. If you have uptodate antivirus and antimalware installed, you shouldn't have any problem.

They are available from:ADOBE
