I have download gimp software since i heard alot of pple recomend this software. However, i have a problem with their help function because everytime i press F1 or help function this message will come out.
"The gimp help files are not installed. Could not open C:\programs files\gimp-2.0\share\gimp\2.0\help\en\gimp-help.xml for reading. No such file or directory"

May i know what is wrong with it? I have tried uninstall and install again but still the same and i have source the help links at gimp website too but then i still receive this msg whenever i press F1.

Gimp's help files are found here:
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/gimp-wi...up.zip?download

They are a separate program that you have to install. Once installed they are html files that any browser should read.

If they installed correctly you should have HTML files in this directory:
C:\Program Files\GIMP-2.0\share\gimp\2.0\help\en
