I just bought a new sound blaster live card and installed it and when I go to add new hardware, it won't accept the new card. It freezes up my computer and I have to manually restart it. The card did not come with instructions and I have not been able to locate the instructions online. Please tell me what to do.
I have a gateway computer with Win ME. I have a soundblaster cd, but My cd drive is out and the new one should be arriving any day.

Thanks, I will when I find it. LOL I misplaced my cd case with all of my computer cd's in it.

don't know if this is where to post...but talking about sound i cant even hear sound im on a packard bell computer with built in speakers but it cant find the device any opinions plz?????
