This APD123 is listed on my startup in msconfig and I am told that this should be removed. It is unchecked, but I am not sure if this means that it is harmful or not. Please help!
Thanks

Hi boomer1,welcome take a look at these instructions from the Startup List tab here at BC.

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/startups/A....exe-14587.html

This may be a downloader trojan so can also do this.

Download and run SUPERAntiSypware, free version Home User

Please post back with any other questions and results.

Hi Boopme,
I searched the web for any comments on the download you suggested. (SUPERAntiSpyware) I did not find any negatives on this company so I downloaded it. Well, it detected some threats to my computer but did not remove them. Now, some quirky things are happening with my computer and I believe this download is causing them. In addition, I am unable to remove this SUPERAntiSpyware. Any suggestions?
