Legin
Hi Ive just downl;oaded SmitfraudFix from a link here . Nod32 is detecting the zip as a threat?

Can anyone help?

Thank you.

Hey Legin, welcome to BleepingComputer. smile.gif
Nod32 is detecting the tool under its heuristic scanning techniques.
Certain parts of smitfraudfix are classified as risktools, namely process.exe.
Antivirus programs cannot distinguish between "good" and "malicious" use of such programs.
Therefore Nod32 alerted you of the possible risk.
I can assure you it's safe to continue, even though it has been flagged as malicious.

When I try to Unzipp the folder Nod32 see's the file Win32/PrcView as a threat & deletes it.

Im stuck now on what to do ?

Anyone else had issue with it?
Legin
ok figgered it out now.
Turned down nod32, Being over protective

Thanks for the Info thumbup.gif
