Here is the situation. We had to replace the hard drive in one of our computers. The computer has no internal cd or floppy drives. We have a win 95 start-up disk and can get that to work with the external floppy but it wont find the harddrive to format it and load the basics, and if we switch out the floppy for the external cd rom wit hwin95 it wont recognize it. Oh did I mention it only has 1 USB port? Any suggestions would be great!!!

Is this a laptop or desktop?

If a desktop you can buy a floppy drive for less than $25.

Is your hard drive recognized by bios? Find the manual for your motherboard to find out how to go into Bios if you don't know. If your bios recognizes the hard drive then we can start having options. However with a windows 95 floppy, you run the problem of the boot disk not being able to recognize what your hard drive is formatted at, try to find a windows 98 boot disk.
