I keep getting a "network cable unplugged" message and I lose internet connection for 2-3 minutes and then everything works again. Sometimes this happens every 5 minutes, and sometimes every few hours.

Using cable modem and router to 2 computers (but I have the same problem even when not using the router). The router is pretty new and the modem about a year old.

I'm wondering what might be the cause and if there is anything I can do before having to replace the modem/router.
