I have an asus wl-138ge or wl138g v2 and me and my flat mates set a wireless network off a netgear DG834G wirless router
That all worked fine till i deleated the asus software that came with my card cause i was using xp's stuff
but this for some reason deleated the driver as well. so i uninstalleed/reinstlalled the software and the card set all the setting so they are the same as the other users on the network but the router still gives me no network address and i recive no packets. I have reset the router and cheaked that im set to assign a network key automatically and still not a single packet dreas of soming my way.

What do I do

Try:
1) Uninstall the software
2) Uninstall the hardware device in Device Manager.
3) Reboot and let Windows detect the hardware
4) Run the Network Setup Wizard and the Connection Wizard to re-establish the connection.
5) If all this doesn't work - then try it with re-installing the Asus software between steps 3 and 4.
