Hi,
When i try to turn off my pc in the proper way, the computer starts back up on its own!. (mmm confused!).
i have tryed various things to make it act normal and the only thing i can do is either hold the start button in for approx 6 seconds then the pc turns immediatly off but i don't know weather this is good for my pc, the other thing i can do is to remove the power lead from my ntl modem. When i do this the pc shuts down as normal. Please help as this is realy ticking me off!!!!!!!!!!!
Cheers

Hum.........I have seen so many cases of stuff like this lately! But not like yours.

So if you unplug your modem it will shutdown normally by hitting start/shutdown?

Are you using XP?
