I have two PCs, both connected via a cross-over LAN cable, with a DSL modem connected to one for the internet. On the one connected directly to the modem, the internet works fine, but on the other, the internet cuts out after about 10 minutes of having the PC turned on. The two PCs insist they are still connected so I have no idea what is causing this to happen, as it was working fine just a few days ago.

Please help.

Are you using ICS or a third party proxy software? Or are you using two NIC cards or a nic and a usb gateway on your proxy server?
What is the proxy servers OS and the client as well?
