hi, i live in a student house, there are 6 of us and we have a wired router with 4 ports, the problem is we all have computers and its a pain to find out you have been disconnected. do you know anything i can buy to add to my router so we can all go online.

I would suggest adding a switch.

You can probably get something like this....

LINKSYS BEFSR81 10/100Mbps EtherFast Cable/DSL Router with 8-Port Switch

You already have a router, so it really doesn't make much sense to buy another. Save yourself some money and just buy the switch. You can hook the switch into the router, and then have the other computers plugged into the switch.

hello again, i have just received my linksys etherfast 5-port switch after purchasing it off the internet. it only comes with a power plug and nothing to plug it into the router so i can send the internet signals through it. do you know what i need to get now to be able to use it?? cheers
