whenever I start my computer up it says that winlogon.exe has encountered a problem and asks me to send an error report. is there a way to fix this, and what is winlogon.exe?

I agree with Joshuacat. Please follow the instructions from the malware specialist who is currently working on your log. Too many people working on your problem with make your HJT issues a nightmare for the person trying to help you.

If this posting is for help with a computer other than the one you posted a HJT log for (A computer running XP), please PM me. For now, I am closing this post.
