Hello,

So you have Win2k? Just to be sure of the exact path I want you to perform next..
Download look.zip to your desktop.
Unzip look.zip.
This will create a new folder on your desktop called look.
Open that folder and doubleclick look.bat
Notepad will open with a log. Copy and paste the contents of that log in your next reply.

Then I'll create the fix afterwards for you. smile.gif

Ok, perform next..

Open notepad and copy and paste next present in the quotebox below in it:
(don't forget to copy and paste REGEDIT4)

QUOTE
REGEDIT4

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\software\microsoft\windows nt\currentversion\winlogon]
"Shell"="Explorer.exe"
"Userinit"="C:\\WINNT\\system32\\userinit.exe,"

Save this as fix.reg Choose to save as *all files and place it on your desktop.
It should look like this:
Doubleclick on it and when it asks you if you want to merge the contents to the registry, click yes/ok.
(In case you are unsure how to create a reg file, take a look here with screenshots.)
Reboot.

Let me know if that solved the problem.

Hi, since you were, or maybe still are infected, I recommend you read this thread: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic34773.html
And post a hijackthislog in the right forum.

Me, or someone else will help you. Don't post a log in this thread, because logs don't belong here.

Well, for your startpage, just choose another starpage instead.
