I have used remote desktop to access server 2000, 2003 and XP. Under system prperties there's a remote tab which allows you to select 'allow remote access".

When I try to access a w2K machine, I get 'Remote connections might not be enabled..."

Where/how do I enable remote connections on the host W2K machine?

Not a Windows Remote Desktop expert, but I didn't think that you could connect to a Windows 2000 Professional computer. I believe it can only be used as a client. At work we are on a Novell Network, so we use ZEN remote control. I have also used VNC and pcAnywhere and Reachout to connect to Windows 2000 Professional computers.

Hope that helps.

Remote Desktop was a new feature available only in Windows XP Pro as far as I know. You could connect to it with a Win2K system but not the other way around.
