ive formatted my hard drive. when i try to reinstall windows i get a message saying connot find primary drive1 or secondary drive 2. in the bios it says hard drive in secondary drive 0 and cd rom in secondary drive 0. how do get it to boot from cd

Go into the BIOS and then into the CMOS and make your CDROM your first device and you hdd the second.

Also set the BIOS to auto detect.
