I keep getting an error message when I open Photoshop. I get this message three times and then PS opens.
“Application has failed to start because qt-mt332.dll was not found. Re-installing application may fix problem.”
I have uninstalled and reinstalled both Photoshop, 6.0.1 update and QuickTime but the error is still there.
I cant seem to find the “qt-mt332.dll” file anywhere on the net. crazy.gif

Welcome to BC!

I knew that I had seen this file somewhere before. I tried Google (which Im sure that you did too) and did not really find any significant links. I even did a text search from another computer, but still-no dice. I realized something else about the file though that may be helpful.

Qt files are associated with QuickTime, in one way or another. I know that I-Tunes uses it.

Have you recently upgraded or deleted I-Tunes?

Perhaps a re-install of this application would restore the file Photoshop is looking for.

I did un and reinstall QuickTime but without I-Tunes.
But is this .dll file referring to QuickTime or Qt as a complete C++ application? crazy.gif

I moved all PS plugins installed into a different directory, temporarily, and the problem did clear up. cool.gif Then I replaced them one at a time until I found the culprits are: tongue.gif

Each of them was causing one of the error messages I was getting hence the three messages.
