ok i just found out i have one agp slot in my computer so im relly happy
i was going to buy a pci geforce 6200
but now that i have agp i can probably afford a better card
umm can somebnody find me a card for about $120
off of maybe newegg.com or best buy because im not good with this stuff

We really need to know what motherboard you have so we can tell what speed you AGP slot is running at, 2x 4x or 8x.

I would say it is compatible. make sure you have an AGP slot in your computer. I mean open it and look and see.
The chip-set, is in your case, the video built onto the motherboard. The reason I said make sure you have an AGP slot, is some companies do not put an AGP slot on there computer. The on board chip-set is tied directly to the AGP bus.
It looks like you did a fine job on that other card. Is it working OK?

a brown agp slot after a row of white pci slots
yes it appears to be working just fine but im moving on to more advanced video games and need to upgrade

i just got it awhile ago and its very good, its a bit better than the other cards your looking at and has a good cooler (you will need if you want that 512 mb ram) it works awesomely it plays battlefield 2,and halflife 2 on HIGH settings not lag . it costs a lil bit more, but its totaly worth it for an agp that rivals the newer PCI-e cards.

i have one question though
i really like the card you just pointed out and i might buy it but
i have a 250 watt power suplly i think on it it says output maxW 250
so does this mean that i cant buy that card and/or the cards i was looking at because they recomended a 300 watt power supply
would it crash my system?
could i give it a try?

should i buy a new power supply on newegg too while im at it?

When it comes to power supplies big IS better. The way you keep amping up the specs on your computer I personally would look into a 450w PS. It is never good to run a PS a 90%+. You want it to run as cool as possible. Most users seldom think of a PS when building a system. This is the heart of your computer after all.
