My computer is a DEll Dimension 8200.

I have a LG GSA-4082B DVD Burner that I bought without software. I have it as the master on ide cable with my dvd rom as the slave.

I am running Win xp home with service pack 2.

I did not know my dvd burner was not working as it should till I tried to burn a large powerpoint presentation. The burner works fine with cd roms as I make music cd's all the time.

Please help me. I would be most appreciative as I want to give the DVD to a family member for christmas.

Sorry for the delay, but its before christmas still so maybe we can get it to work if its stil lnot working. Let me know if you are still having a problem and what software you are using to make the dvd
