Will the Geforce 6600 work with a pentium 4 ht lga 775?
mooniniteman
that really depends on your motherboard. what socket type is it? What socket type is yor motherboard?

If those match, I dont see why your card wouldnt work with it.
Stu G
I have a GeForce 6600 Graphics Card PCI-E 16x, On a Intel D915PCY Motherbaord using a 3.2Ghz P4 HT and its very reliable and Works for any game I have played over the past year. In my experiences with graphics cards NVidia is much more reliable than ATI cards.
Klinkaroo
Yes that video card is compatible. I googled your mobo and it has an PCI x16 slot so your all good to go. Hope you like your new addition.

Cheers
Klink
Mr Alpha
Where did you get his motherboard? There are also both AGP and PCIe versions of the 6600.
Klinkaroo
Here is the mobo http://www.intel.com/products/motherboard/d915pcy/index.htm

And in the message right before mine he said that it was the PCI-E
Mr Alpha
Are we talking about StuG or SkyIron? unsure.gif
Klinkaroo
Ooops Well I hope it's a pci-e card sorry bout that.

But still the pci-e slot on your mobo is better then an agp and will handle the new high end pci-e video cards.
TheEmuRider
Klink it seems you missed the point smile.gif

The topic starter still has not posted his motherboard model.

The person you are replying to already knows his video card is compatible smile.gif
Klinkaroo
Oh crap... Just ignore everything I said tongue.gif
