I have to scan. I'm in safe mode. I hate safe mode. It's noisy and terrible.
I was always able to run previous a2. But this v2 I can only see upper left quadrant, more or less , so I there's no scroll bar, all I can do is select a scan and no way to actually do it. H E L P !!!!

Luckily I've got another computer to ask you questions on

Ugh!! I hate it when that happens. The only thing I've been able to do to fix that particular problem is to change the display settings: resolution and font size, and even then it doesn't always work, probably because the resolution requirements of specific programs don't work in Safe Mode.

Changing resolution in safe mode did not work unfortunately. I have no clue what to do. I've got to scan.

If you can't use a-squard, then try another good anti-malware program like Ewido Anti-Spyware v4.0 for scanning in safe mode.
Print out the Ewido Install and Scan Instructions.

Thanks. I wish a2 would run!!
Ok, I used Ewido once, and had some problems trying it again. I have to review where I went wrong.

In the meantime, the installation and run procedure you linked me to are really great, I think. I particularily like the sections about installing from flash, unconnected to the world. Thank you.

Your quite welcome. Good luck with your scan.
