Hi There - hopefully this is posted in the right forum.

I use ZA Pro as my firewall and in the Log it states that mssvc.exe is trying to access the internet and to lots of different destination DNS's. I have tried looking for explanations as what purpose this .exe file sereves but have not found a satisfactory one. It seems that it is linked to malware... but am not sure ... should this application be accessing the internet, same with svchost.exe. I did at one stage have lots of virii on my computer but used ZA Pro to clean them as well as spyware... I unsure whether this has anything to do with the application trying to access the internet. Some of the sites are pretty random.

I am hoping someone knows what this application does - whether i should delete, move or leave it be.
Your help is appreciated

mssvc.exe is a process associated with the StealthDisk application used for hiding and encrypting files and folders.

Do you have StealthDisk installed?

Not sure why it would be attempting to access the Internet unless it has an update feature. Did the ZA log provide a path to the file?
