Life demanded my attention and so I've been away from "computer-land" for awhile!

I come back to find my a-squared and ewido no longer my free protectors!

?'s
1- Can I get them for free again?

2- If not...

a- Is there something just as good for free?

b- How do I uninstall and remove the remnants of them?

3- If I choose to pay for them, will I need to remove the free versions first?

Thanks for your time and help smile.gif

Both A-Squared and Edwido have free versions. I am not familiar with A-Squared, so I don't know if it's the same installation or not.

With Edwido it is, it is just that you will need to change the settings to act as a stand-alone on-demand scanner. Read quietman7's directions on this site for how to configure and use Edwido in this way.

You will need real-time protection. There are many options available. There is an excellent list provided here.
