Those are some HOT laptops!

Too bad for DELL for this come out in the open at this time, as this is the biggest laptop sales period of year, with all of the college kids buying laptops right now. Or should I have said "all of the college kids PARENTS buying laptops right now."

I saw this to on the news. But one thing that I saw did make me laugh. Didn't think those little Lithium batteries were this explosive.

Is dell paying for the recall or is sony?? Afterall the batteries are manufactured by sony...

My sister just bought two E1505's for her twin daughters.
Though they are on the list of recall possibilities, neither has the "known" defective battery in them.

This is probly the same stuff Sony replace in the PlayStaion 2.2 last year .they had overheating issues in the power converter.

BTW: didnt Dell have a picture of a laptop w/ flames on it in some of their ads? LOL talk about truth in advertising.

I say that Sony should no longuer touch anything electrical. Soon the hole world will blow up from Sony made power converters, batteries and all the other stuff related to electrical
