I got Norton Internet Security 2005 a month ago (some shop, cheap) and i installed it.. The good news is that ive not had any major issues regarding viruses and malware... However, it hods system resources like a freak!

I cant watch play of do anything. Every minute or so the computer freeses for two seconds and then resumes, throwing everything off track..

I need a substitute... my version of Norton Systemworks (2005) lasted a year with no hiccups but now i am tired of Norton, perhaps another antivirus is needed.

I came to my conclusion after using google to a very large extent, as well as deductive reasoning (nothing else was installed).

As i game alot, i am extremely pissed and would love a repacement.. nothing fancy, just Antivirus and a few extras, like systemworks had, I also use Adaware SE so i dont really need a pro with help for that...

Thanx and it doesent matter if it aint free, ill buy it!!!!

cheers.

AVGFree is used and recommended by many members here at BC, myself included.

Here is a review and comparison of tree free A/V's. I myself use AntiVir.
